INSIDE UDUS: Prof Maryam Koko Breaks Barriers, Center Starts Bread Production

The Centre of Entrepreneurship Development, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto has commenced the production of bread in the center. This development was made known to the public on the club's official Facebook page on 12th July 2023.
According to the information on the page, the bread is named 'CEDUDUS' and it's of different sizes.
This development has been welcomed with a trail of happiness by the University community at large as several students expressed joy over the production.

In addition, the bread was depicted as 'Enjoy safe and scrumptious goodness, now available in the right sizes'.
Vanguard Press observed that this unprecedented project was led and executed by the Director of the center, Prof. Maryam Koko, a lecturer from the Department of Business Administration.
The President of the Entrepreneurship Club, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, Abdullah Umar made it known to our reporter that the bread will be made available within and outside the school.
'Location as of now is the Centre and mini market. Distributors are also welcome," he stated.
According to him, the center has different sizes and categories of bread namely special, normal, and small bread.
He also noted that the special bread is large and is sold for #900, the normal bread is a mix of slice and ordinary bread, they are equally large and sold for #800 each while the small bread also consists of sliced and normal bread which is sold for 400 and 300 respectively.
"Sales have started at the center and also in school minimarts and it’s opened to all dealers that would be interested in its distribution at a discounted price."
"The center will also be organizing a promo sale soon," Abdullah added.
