Column with Legal Queen: This GST Matter Don Tire Me

E reach to use Pidgin English yarn wetin dey my mind 'about this GST matter. I don talk, I don explain tire, but e be like say that time I no get evidence, na im make UDUS student no gree hear wetin I dey talk. But now, I don get evidence.

The way GST classes dey empty, e dey shake me ooh. You sef think am,  shey GST no dey part of the course wey you register?

Make I tell you wetin happen today as I yarn my roommate say I dey go GST lecture.

Today, as I wan waka go GST, my roomie con ask me, "Ah ah, Legal Queen, today na Saturday na, where you dey go? Abi na   afternoon Morroco you dey go?" I just look am, shake my head like d way  agama lizard dey shake him own, then I tell her say, "Na GST lecture I dey go." Na so dem begin laugh me, con talk say I dey behave like UG1, say na only UG1 dey attend GST. One of them talk say, "GST wey simple like drinking water, if you read past Q come open handout, you don already pass. Attendance sef no dey serious, and e no get anywhere wey e touch"

I just waka waka pass them, no wan dey do blind argument. I reach the venue, come reason am say me wey dey come lecture, I  pass pesin wey dey sleep for hostel. I get two goals - I attend lecture (I get experience and better explanations), and if I read well, I fit pass easily. 

You wey dey chill for house or hostel, you fit pass too, but you no go get the experience. All the lecture tori, and the jokes wey lecturer yarn, no go enter your ear. You fit try explain tire during the test or exam, that's if you pass, but you get evidence?.

Unserious students go think say na play I dey play.

Oya oya you no say I don catch you, but abeg I wan see wuna for GST lecture next week.

  Sewedo Khadijat reports In a bid to ensure and improve the harmonious relationship among various levels, the Nigerian Universities Accounting Students' Association (NUASA), Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto Chapter is set to hold congress meetings across all levels of Accounting Students. This information which was obtained by Vanguard Press is contained in a flier, released by the President of the Association,  Akintomiwa Isaac, and shared to many social media accounts.
