Column with Legal Queen: Toilet Dey Smell ooo

By: Muhammad Habibat Sani (UmmuYasmeen)

Oh, the wild wonders of campus life at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS)! From thrilling lectures to unexpected encounters, each day presents a unique adventure. But let's address the not-so-pleasant side of one of the experiences of students– the toilets. Yes, dear readers, the booming bathrooms have now been joined by an olfactory orchestra, releasing scents that could challenge even the bravest noses!

Imagine this scenario: you're strolling near the A classes, minding your own business, when suddenly a bitter aroma reaches your nostrils. You scrunch up your face, swiftly closing your nose in desperate self-defense against the assault of unpleasant odors. Who would have thought that passing by a restroom at UDUS would turn into a game of holding your breath?

But that's not all! The real surprise comes when nature's call strikes. You reluctantly approach one of these facilities and brace yourself for the inevitable discomfort. The smell is unbearable, the cleanliness questionable – it's as if these toilets have taken on a life of their own and are determined to sabotage your toilet experience!

Let's acknowledge the sheer absurdity of our smelly situation and band together to bring about change. It's time for the authorities at UDUS to confront this odorous orchestra and restore cleanliness and hygiene to our bathrooms.

Imagine a future where passing near a restroom means inhaling fresh air, devoid of unpleasant surprises. A time when answering nature's call is a sanitary and pleasant experience—a far cry from the current fragrance-filled nightmare. With a collective effort between students, the school management, and some potent air fresheners, we can transform these stinky situations into something far more pleasant.
