Danfodiyo Varsity Set to Matriculate Fresh Students

On 19th July 2023, the  Management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto will matriculate its newly admitted Undergraduates and Postgraduates for the 2022/2023 academic session.

This development was made known in a flyer released by the University Management and pasted to all notice boards of the University.

"This is to inform all staff and students that the 2022/2023 session matriculation ceremony of the newly admitted UG 1, UG 2, and Postgraduate Students who are not graduates of this University comes up as follows," part of the contents in the flyer reads. 

As contained in the said flyer, rehearsal for the ceremony will take place on Tuesday, 18th July, 2023 by 4 pm while the matriculation Ceremony will hold on Wednesday, 19th July, 2023 by 9 am prompt at the University's Convocation Theatre.

"To facilitate the attendance of both Rehearsal and the Matriculation Ceremony by students, the University Authority has declared the afternoon of Tuesday and the Morning of Wednesday 18th and 19th July 2023 as lecture free for 100 and 200 level Students," the flyer further stated.

Meanwhile, the management noted that it is important for newly admitted students to attend both the Rehearsal and Matriculation Ceremony on time as stipulated.

"Any Student who fails to complete the Oath Form and Sign off the Matriculation Register within stipulated time frames will be shown the way out of the University by the University Authority only those who have been matriculated will be considered bonafide students of this University."

While the University community looks forward to the event, the Management advised matriculating students to collect their Academic gowns from their various Faculty officers.
