DRID-UDUS Set to Hold Monthly Webinar Series

The Directorate of Research, Innovation and Development of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto under the leadership of Prof. Aminu Muhammad Bayawa is set to hold the July edition of her monthly webinar series on the 12th of July, 2023. This is according to a flier released to the public by the Directorate and obtained by Vanguard Press.

According to the flier, the Webinar Program is titled 'From Volunteer to Entrepreneur' How Going Back Can Boost Your Research Career", and will hold via Zoom with the meeting details contained in the flyer. 

Dikko Yusuf who holds a bachelor's degree in Arts from the University of Leeds and a master' of Arts from Kaduna State University is the Presenter of the Webinar scheduled by the Directorate. 

While the webinar is scheduled to hold virtually, the flyer says the event will contain useful discussions on academic and research journeys. "This one promises to be an interesting discussion on how non-traditional roles could significantly impact on our academic and research journeys," the flyer says.

Abdullahi Hafsoh reports, A 300-level law student of Usmanu Danfodio University Sokoto, Habibat Muhammad Sani has done what other students described as 'wonderful and exceptional'. Born in Sokoto and hailing from Abuja, Habiba gets disturbed by anything unhygienic. In her act of service to humanity, she addressed an issue of the unhygienic situation at the old PG female hostel. With her 'hygienic' mind, Habibat was moved after attending a series of programs such as the renowned youth development program "#Youth Group learning for the Nigerian we want#" organized by the Golden Star Initiative and funded by esteemed institutions such as Leap Africa, Mac Arthur Foundation, Ford Foundation, and the Naija Youth fund. Inside UDUS: NUASA-UDUS Sets To Hold Congress Meeting

  Sewedo Khadijat reports In a bid to ensure and improve the harmonious relationship among various levels, the Nigerian Universities Accounting Students' Association (NUASA), Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto Chapter is set to hold congress meetings across all levels of Accounting Students. This information which was obtained by Vanguard Press is contained in a flier, released by the President of the Association,  Akintomiwa Isaac, and shared to many social media accounts. According to the flier, debate, quiz, talk show, miming competition poem recitation and cultural display are the events to be featured on that day.
