Examination: NAIS-UDUS Plans Get-together, Ends 1st Semester Activities

The National Association Of Idoma Students, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto Chapter, NAIS-UDUS, a member of the National Union of Benue State Students, NUBESS-UDUS,  has closed all association meets up and official activities for the 1st Semester, 2023/24 session.

This came after its 9th weekly meet-up held on Sunday 9th July 2023 at the Convocation Theatre within the university campus.

The meeting which was more like a recap of all of its activities and programs for the semester started with an opening remark by its President, Comrade Ogbu Lawrence. 

The President, in his remarks, while appreciating alumni members in their midst urged the member students to maintain good conduct and academic excellence.

In his words, "Let us keep being the good ambassadors of the Food Basket of the Nation and please, let us not deviate from our primary assignment on campus."

Following suit were updates and reports by committees, including financial reports,  reactions by members, and suggestions for a better outcome in the coming examination, among others.

The Welfare Director of the association gave an update on the planned Get-together and said, "There will be enough to eat and drink, inform other Idoma students within and outside the campus."

The 9th and last meeting of the Association had two graduates and alumni in attendance including, Abah Sunday and Hussein Nuhu Isa (SonOfNuhu) as well as the presence of the President of the National Union of Benue State Student, Comrade Godo Kpamo.

The meeting which was moderated by Comrade Ocheyela John ended with a soulful closing prayer for success in the coming examination by Ms Hellen, a student from the Department of Zoology.
