School Identity Cards for Students Admitted During 2019/2020 Session Are Ready For Collection- Students' Affairs Division Tells Faculty Officers, Students

The Management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto has said that Identification cards for students who were admitted during the 2019/2020 academic session are ready for collection. 

This information was contained in a circular with Ref Number UDUS/VC/SAD/010, released from the Students' Affairs Division under the office of the Vice Chancellor on the 3rd of July 2023 and signed by M. L Ibrahim, Dean of students affairs.

The circular which was directed to faculty officers of various Departments reads: "This is to inform all faculty officers that students identification cards for 2019/2020 academic session are ready for collection. Given that you're hereby requested to come to the ID card office, students affairs division for collection and onward distribution to students."

According to the circular, the affected faculties are: Health Sciences, Education, and Extension Services, College of Health Sciences, Basic Medical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Management Sciences, Social Sciences, Chemical and Lab sciences, Arts, Physics, and Computer Sciences, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Arabic and Islamic Studies, Engineering and Environmental Design, Dental Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, and Law.

Students' Union Wishes Danfodites Successful Examination

In a similar development, the Students' Union according to a recent Press release dated 5th of July 2023, used the opportunity to wish all Danfodites Joyous preparation in the 2022/2023 academic session's first-semester examination scheduled to commence on 24th of July, 2023.

According to the Press release signed by the President, Comr. Lukman M. Sanusi; Secretary General, Comr. Olaniyan Sodiq Akinola; Public Relations Officers, Comr. U. A Taliki and Adam Arowolo, the union urged Danfodites to desist from criticism and provide the necessary support needed to move UDUS beyond the horizon.

"In conclusion, all Danfodites need to note that their criticism can't assist the situation but their prayers and support will assist the executive to move UDUS beyond the horizon," the letter reads.
