NAMS-UDUS Sets To Participate in Northern Region Conference

The Nigerian Association of Microbiology Students, Usmanu Danfodiyo University Chapter, is set to participate in the Northern Region Conference scheduled to be held from today, 27th of September till 30th of September, 2023 at the Main Campus in Kaduna State University, Kaduna.

This information is contained in a flyer released to the public by the Association, shared across various media outlets, and obtained by Vanguard Press Board recently.

According to the flyer, the Northern Region Conference is themed: "Harnessing Microbial Resources For Industrial Development And Economic Diversification in Nigeria."

Meanwhile, Lectures, Quiz, Debate, Spelling Bee, Student Pageantry, Scrabble Competitions, Chess Competitions, Cultural Competitions, and Elections are many things students, alumni, and International students will gain after paying the appropriate amount approved for registration at the Conference.



The benefits for participants contained in the flyer read: "Certificate of Participation, access to in-depth online conference materials, virtual discussions with other attendees, lectures, and competitions online, and connect with other Microbiologists Nationwide virtually."

The Social Director, Nigerian Association of Microbiology Students, Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto Chapter, Yusuf Ismail made it known to our reporter that the association would ensure members are well acquainted with the conference schedule.

"To ensure active participation during the conference, interested students will be well informed about the program activities," he said.

Speaking with the Head of Department, Dr. A. A. Farouq, he expressed his approval when presented with a letter from the Staff Advisor, A. B. Rabah.

"I'm fully aware of their registration and departure by tomorrow," he said.

  Sewedo Khadijat reports In a bid to ensure and improve the harmonious relationship among various levels, the Nigerian Universities Accounting Students' Association (NUASA), Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto Chapter is set to hold congress meetings across all levels of Accounting Students.   Abdulraheem Muhammed Olarewaju reports,  In a commendable endeavor to bolster journalistic integrity and sharpen the skills of aspiring journalists, the National Association of Campus Journalists, Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto Chapter, had on Sunday 1st of October, 2023 convened its first congress of the semester, placing a strong focus on editorial training.  Spearheaded by Abdulrasheed Hammed, a seasoned and award-winning investigative journalist, the training delved into the core ethics of journalism, underscoring the paramount importance of maintaining truthfulness and transparency.
