UDUS News: Department of Public Administration Appoints New Examinations Officer

The Department of Public Administration, Faculty of Management Science, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, had on 22nd November 2023 appointed Mr. M.M. Lawal as the new Examination Officer for the Department. 

This information which was contained in a letter signed by Dr. Nura Abubakar Allumi, the acting Head of Department, copying the Dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences, the Bursar and the Faculty Examination Officer, released by the Department and shared across social media outlets was obtained by Vanguard Press.

According to the circular, the appointment was based on competence. A part of it reads, "I write to appoint you as the Departmental Exams Officer. Sir, your appointment is carefully calculated to enable the Department tap from your wealth of expertise." 

"Understanding the complexity of this assignment, you should please work hand in hand with your predecessor so that he puts you through the rubrics of the assignment," it continued.

The statement further states, "I wish you a hitch-free tenure. The appointment takes place instantaneously, please. Please accept my hearty congratulations."

Inside UDUS: NUASA-UDUS Sets To Hold Congress Meeting

  Sewedo Khadijat reports In a bid to ensure and improve the harmonious relationship among various levels, the Nigerian Universities Accounting Students' Association (NUASA), Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto Chapter is set to hold congress meetings across all levels of Accounting Students. This information which was obtained by Vanguard Press is contained in a flier, released by the President of the Association,  Akintomiwa Isaac, and shared to many social media accounts. According to the flier, debate, quiz, talk show, miming competition poem recitation and cultural display are the events to be featured on that day.
