NAAT-UDUS, CASRAS Set To Train Technologists, Researchers On Molecular Biology Techniques, Instrumentation

In its commitment to lighting the path for innovation and discovery, the National Association of Academic Technologists, Usmanu Danfodiyo University Chapter, in conjunction with the Center for Advanced Science Research and Analytical Services (CASRAS) is set to organize a workshop training from the 9th of October to the 13th of October, 2023 at the Centre For Advanced Science Research And Analytical Services, CASRAS Auditorium, UDUS.
This information which was obtained by Vanguard Press Board was contained in a flyer, released to the public by the association, and shared across various media outlets.
According to the flyer, the workshop training is themed "Advancing Laboratory Techniques' Exploring Cutting Edge Methods and Best Practices".
During the training on techniques and Instrumentation, participants will gain more insights into Molecular Biology Techniques, Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectroscopy, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy, and X-ray diffraction after paying the #30,000 registration fee.
The Association's N/W Zonal Coordinator, Comrade Adamu Mansir from the Department of Pharmacognosy and Ethnomedicine is the Convener while Prof. Yusuf Saidu, Deputy Vice Chancellor on Research, Innovation, and Development at UDUS is the Keynote Speaker.
Meanwhile, Prof. Aminu Bayawa Muhammad, the Director of Research, Innovation, and Development at UDUS; Prof. Muhammed B. Yerima from the Department of Microbiology, Sokoto State University; and Engr. Salisu Adamu, a Biomedical Engineer from UDUS, are the resource persons for the workshop.
The Vice Chancellor of UDUS, Prof L. S. Bilbis is the Chief Host of the workshop training while the host is Dr. Misbahu Ladan Muhammed, CASRAS' Coordinator alongside Dr. Andrew Onu, Deputy Coordinator, CASRAS, UDUS.
