UDUS Centre For Peace Studies Sets to Hold 2nd National Conference

The Centre for Peace Studies of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, under the directorship of Prof. M. T. Usman seeks to inform the University Community and general public of the opening ceremony of her 2nd National Conference scheduled to be held on Tuesday 03rd of October, 2023 at the University Auditorium Main Campus by 9:30 am.

This information which is obtained by Vanguard Press was shared across various social media outlets and contained in an invitation flyer released from the Centre for Peace Studies, UDUS.

Garba A. Kangiwa, Associate Professor and Head of the Sociology Department at Federal University Birnin-Kebbi is the Lead Paper Presenter of the National Conference themed: "Tackling Security Challenges for Sustainable Democracy and Development in Nigeria", according to the flyer.

Meanwhile, the Conference will be chaired by the Vice Chancellor of Federal University Birnin-Kebbi, Prof. Muhammad Z. Umar while the keynote speech will be delivered by Prof. Ahmed Bako from the Department of History, UDUS.

The Vice Chancellor of UDUS, Prof. L. S. Bilbis is the Chief Host of the conference while the hosted is Prof. M. T. Usman, Director, Centre of Peace Studies, UDUS.
