DRID-UDUS Set to Hold Monthly Webinar Series

Wonderful Adegoke reports, The Directorate of Research, Innovation and Development of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto under the leadership of Prof. Aminu Muhammad Bayawa is set to hold the July edition of her monthly webinar series on the 12th of July, 2023. This is according to a flier released to the public by the Directorate and obtained by Vanguard Press. Shuaib Ibrahim Hanif reports, The Deputy Vice Chancellor of Administration at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, Prof. Ibrahim Magawata has on Wednesday 5th July 2023 passed a strong warning to 200-level students of the Faculty of Agriculture on the consequences of not doing their registrations before the deadline fixed by the school management elapses.  This information was passed during his FIS 201 lecture class with UG2 students of the Faculty of Agriculture at the Vet Lecture Theater having realized that the majority of the class population are yet to complete their registrations.  "Try and do your course registration even if you have missing grades, it can be resolved later." UDUS ZTC-EFCC At a Glance and the Red Eagles

By: Abdulrahman Tanimu  The Zero Tolerance for Corruption (EFCC-ZTC) is the watchful eye that checks the affairs of students and all associations, clubs, and even the students union on campus to create a corrupt-free environment that would lead to the progress of the University.  Ever since its creation, it has engaged in sensitization and investigation of all forms of corrupt acts on campus which yielded fruitful results. The founder and first president was the late Umar Bello Maijama'a who was a student of Usmanu Danfodio University, Sokoto. The EFCC-ZTC has produced 12 Presidents since its creation, and the current president is Red Eagle Shehu Munir Waziri who came into power in the 2020/2021 academic session and was re-instated for a second tenure in the 2022/2023 academic session due to his steadfastness towards fighting corruption on the campus. School Identity Cards for Students Admitted During 2019/2020 Session Are Ready For Collection- Students' Affairs Division Tells Faculty Officers, Students

Wonderful Adegoke reports, The Management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto has said that Identification cards for students who were admitted during the 2019/2020 academic session are ready for collection.  This information was contained in a circular with Ref Number UDUS/VC/SAD/010, released from the Students' Affairs Division under the office of the Vice Chancellor on the 3rd of July 2023 and signed by M. L Ibrahim, Dean of students affairs. The circular which was directed to faculty officers of various Departments reads: "This is to inform all faculty officers that students identification cards for 2019/2020 academic session are ready for collection. Given that you're hereby requested to come to the ID card office, students affairs division for collection and onward distribution to students."
