Faculty of Law Unveils Committee for LAWSAN Election

In its commitment to students matters and the democratic process of leadership, the Dean of the Faculty of Law of Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto has on Monday 19th June 2023 released the list of the members of the electoral committee for the conduct of the Faculty's Law Student Association Of Nigeria (LAWSAN).

The development is contained in an appointment letter addressed to all appointed individuals, released from the office of the Dean of the Faculty, and signed by the  Faculty officer, Mr. M.M Tawali.

Part of the letter reads, "I have the pleasure to inform you that Dean has approved your appointment as Chairman/Member/Secretary to the Electoral Committee for the conduct of the Faculty of Law Student Association of Nigerian(LAWSAN)".

The list consists of Dr. K.G Muhammad as the Chairman;

Dr. A.U Ruwandorowa, Member: Ahmad Aliyu Class Rep UGV, Member; Abdullahi Sanusi Class Rep UGIV, Member; Abdullahi Z. Yari Class Rep UGIII, Member;

Imran K. Miqaddas UGII, Member; and Dr. S.U Muhammad, Member/Secretary.

The letter further stated that the committee's terms of reference are to coordinate and facilitate the conduct of a free and fair election, and to ensure the transition of power to new elected excos.

The committee has been given a timeframe of ten (10) days to complete the assignment from Monday 19 to Wednesday 28th June 2023, the letter noted. 

"Wishing you the best of luck and be rest assured of the Dean's unflinching support," the letter ends.

Inside UDUS: NUASA-UDUS Sets To Hold Congress Meeting

  Sewedo Khadijat reports In a bid to ensure and improve the harmonious relationship among various levels, the Nigerian Universities Accounting Students' Association (NUASA), Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto Chapter is set to hold congress meetings across all levels of Accounting Students.
