Vanguard Press Board The Coalition of All Faculty Presidents at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto met yesterday Monday 21st of August, 2023 for the purpose of addressing some challenges faced by students and promoting the cultural, ethical, and academic heritage of the University.  The meeting which was held at the Board Room of the Faculty of Social Sciences and was convened and summoned by the President of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Comrade I B Khalifa had in attendance presidents of all the fifteen Faculties in UDUS or their representatives.  Delivering the opening remarks and keynote address, Barrister Balle, the Faculty Officer for the Faculty of Social Sciences, expressed his gratitude for being invited to address the meeting while he charged the coalition to uphold unity and work with the Students' Handbook to ensure the welfare of students on campus and tackle their challenges in a manner that is in tandem with the interest of the University.  In his remark...

Recall that the Students Representative Assembly, or SRA in its second sitting held at B09 on Sunday 6th of August, 2023 suspended the SU President, Financial Secretary, and Sales Director over a high level of Irresponsibility and financial mismanagement. Shuaib Ibrahim Hanif reports, On the 17th of July, 2023, the National Association of Agricultural Students (NAAS), Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto Chapter under the leadership of Comr. Aminu Muhammad organized an orientation for the newly admitted students at the Vet lecture theatre. The Program started with an opening prayer followed by a welcome address by the Vice President of the association, Abdulraheem Abdulmujeeb Adanla. Scheduled to take place on Friday, July 21, 2023, at MH3 starting at 10:00 am, this event promises to be an important milestone for the society and its members.
